Watching a parade is all about getting the right spot.

If that spot includes a bathroom, food and drinks, stop looking. If it also includes a second-floor balcony, crown yourself king and wave to your loyal subjects.

There will be no shortage of kings — and more than a few queens — at Dish Creative Cuisine on Sunday morning as the 28th annual Greater Palm Springs Pride Parade steps off from the corner of Palm Canyon and Tachevah drives.

Dish — at 1107 North Palm Canyon Drive — will open at 9:30 a.m. Guests get to enjoy bottomless champagne and mimosas, celebratory cocktails along with assorted party favors on one of the most exclusive rooftop decks. Drawings will be held throughout the event for gift certificates, hats, T-shirts and more.
